About Me

“Curiouser and curiouser!” cried Alice (she was so much surprised, that for the moment she quite forgot how to speak good English). “Now I’m opening out like the largest telescope that ever was! Good-bye, feet!” – Lewis Carroll, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland

I am a curious person, and I find the world to be a curious place. My inspiration comes from learning new things, discovering new places, and meeting new people, and I make sense of it all by writing it down. My articles and essays have been published in Baltimore Magazine, Bmoreart, National Parks Traveler, Outside In Literary & Travel Magazine, Patch.com, Seltzer, 20 Something Magazine, Missouri Meetings & Events, and Sauce Magazine.

I live in the Baltimore area, and I enjoy exploring everything Charm City has to offer. I have a day job as a communications specialist for a software company, and I’m also a student in the M.A. in Writing program at Johns Hopkins University. In my free time (ha!) I enjoy yoga, rock climbing, music (I play the piano pretty well and the drums pretty poorly), walking my two rescue dogs, reading to keep up with my book-buying habit…and a really good cup of coffee.
